weight_loss_for_lazy_people

Everyone wants to lose weight and get slim but there are not many people who are ready to workout or give up their favorite foods.

It is very common to hear “I am too lazy to workout today !”

or  you might be yelling…” I hate to go to gym !

“ How can anyone lose weight when they hate to exercise ? ”

Many of the us will be triggered by the fear. For example, I know a few people who start running for several hours immediately after getting back from their annual physical checkup.

But unfortunately, these are the people who return to their lazy routine as soon as they feel like they ran too much.

If you react out of fear, it is likely that you’ll go back to the old habit when you feel that the threat is over. It is something like running only when chased by a crazy dog.

Making permanent life style changes are possible only if you can enjoy the process of transforming yourself to the new habit.

Stop thinking negatively and concentrate only on the positive side of the change to make a habit to last forever.

Here are some tips that might help you loose weight without going to the gym and simultaneously have some fun as well.

1. Run with the Kids

Get the kids to the play ground and they will surely make you run. You will not even notice that you are working out while you are chasing them.

If the children also are lazy, here is the article Tips to Overcome Laziness in Children you can use to to motivate them. It also help the kids also lose some weight. You also can have fun chasing the dog if you happen to have one.

2. Play a Fun Sport

Choose a sport that will give you enough entertainment that makes you completely forget that you are working out. My favorite games are tennis, soccer and racquet ball.

Well, if you don’t know how to play, get some training and you will surely be tuned into it. This is in fact, the quickest way to loose weight and simultaneously have a lot of enjoyment.

3. Park Away from the Store

When you go to shopping make sure that you park your car away from the store.

Just count how many cars are parked between your car and the store when going into and out of the store. This might help you forget that you are walking longer distances. Remember, these little things will add up to your weight loss program.

4. Get rid of the Recliner

If you feel that you are spending a lot of time in the recliner at home, please get rid of it.

Just donate it or move it to your garage so that you can no longer see it. When sitting in the recliner you might never feel like getting out of it and become lazy.

5. Shop when Stomach Full

There is a lot of difference in buying groceries when you’re hungry and with your stomach is full.

If you shop when you are hungry, everything in the store appears yummy and you’ll be tempted to buy a lot of food and put on more weight.

6. Use a Tiny Water Bottle

Always keep a small water bottle at your desk so that you must make so many trips to the water fountain. You also should make sure that you drink enough water to keep yourself healthy.

Drinking a plenty of water also will make you make many trips to bathroom which also helps you burning some calories.

7. Get an MP3 Player

Get an MP3 player and load it up with all your favorite songs and start walking. Shake your body along with music. When listening to the music, you may not even feel like you are working out at all. Once you get used to enjoying the music, you will be looking for the opportunities to get out and do some walking.

8. Help your Spouse

Help your spouse in washing the dishes or doing some other work. It might help keeping your spouse happy as well as losing some weight.

You can keep a fun competition on who will wash more dishes in less time.

9. TV Habit

Most of the people are not mobile because of the TV in their living room. No one will ever get slim just by watching TV. Promise yourself to watch TV only when you are walking on the treadmill. This will form an association between TV and exercise.

You will get into a habit in such a way that, when you think of TV your legs will automatically move towards treadmill.

10. Count the Steps

Try to avoid elevators as much as possible and make use of the stairs. Count the number of steps while you are on the stairs to divert your self and happily burn some calories.
